Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter visiting with family and friends in Hollidaysburg. We opened our Easter baskets, J got army men and I got tulips, and we both got some Easter candy. We dyed eggs with Kayden, Samantha, and Travis, as well as my cousin Hannah, and had an Easter egg hunt around the yard. The kids got a lot of clothes and toys from the Easter bunny.

Pittsburgh Home Show

My parents came up to visit a few weeks ago and we went to the home show in Pittsburgh. It was a lot of fun. We didn't buy much, but my parents got me this neat peanut holder to feed the squirrels and birds. I thought the peanuts might last a little longer if they were harder to get. They haven't had much trouble cleaning it out in a day though.

Happy Valentine's Day

Well, I skipped right over thanksgiving and Christmas, both of which were great. Valentine's Day just passed us by. My husband and I choose to make home-made valentines for each other, and go out to a nice dinner at Red Lobster. His valentine was AWESOME! I was really not expecting something so nice. He made three paper roses which are so pretty, and then a 3-d heart. I am so thankful to have a husband who loves me, and goes the extra mile to show me. Hope you all had a great Valentine's Day too!

Pumpkin Carving

We had an awesome pumpkin carving night! I made snacks and punch and we had friends over to carve pumpkins. The ferrets had a good time too.

Paintings

I just finished 3 new paintings for my bathroom. I got the ideas from Pintrest. I really like the simple flowers, which match my gray walls and teal towels. The button tree was fun to make, and I even got some buttons and the key from my Grandmother-in-law, which made it extra special.

Happy Birthday Dad!

My Dad turned 60 this year!!! We went out to eat, and I got him this poop head game. I am thankful that I have such a great Dad!

Happy Birthday Becky!

My friend Becky also turned 30 this year in August. We celebrated at the Japanese steakhouse. The food there is so good!
